SB order 14/2015: Please offer Your comments

Dear friends,

With reference to the SB order 14/2015, some of the deficiencies observed are summarised below

1. General (i) : As and when SOs are migrated to CBS, Staff working in SO SB branch should be re-deployed either at POSB counters or at PC or in SBCO branch for assitance in physical voucher checking. 

The spirit of the order above is good but Excutive officers will not spare even one official from SOSB to SBCO branch in practical. Evern if it is so, whenever shortage of staff in other branches happen, they will divert them to work in General line.  Our Prime request is that all SBCO units should be provided with atleast sanctioned strength as of now.

2. General (ii) : SBCO has to take voucher bundles with consolidation from Sub account and tally totals shown in consolidation with amount shown in SO daily account and SO summary -  This is not at all practical and in future we can be booked for the lapses on the part of Sub account and summary branch officials also.

3. Overview of proposed work of SBCO : 

serial no. 2 : Checking of LOTs    : SBCO has to match account no on LOT (to be viewed from Finacle)

4.Mode of handling of work :

S. no. 4 : General check of vouchers and check of vouchers : Manual and System

( For the above two points, staff working strength is not enough as we have to check 100% of vouchers w r to  LOT in Finacle.)
