No. AIPSBCOEA /HQ /03 / 2016 Dated :21.07.2016
To
Comrade VIRENDRA TEWARY,
General Secretary,
All India Postal SBCO
Employees Association,
1st floor,
North Avenue Post office building, New
Delhi 110 001.
Dear Comrade,
Sub– Intimation on Agitation
programme launched by our TN circle – reg.
Ref: Our email sent to GS on the
resolutions of Circle Working Committee meeting
As
already decided in our Circle Working Committee meeting, the resolutions passed
in the meeting were communicated to the CPMG, Tamilnadu circle vide our letter
no. AIPSBCOEA/CO/7/2016dated
30.06.2016 for necessary action.
As there is no progress in the present situation,
Our Circle Association has no other way but to go by the decision of CWC.We started agitation
and as a first step, we organized a Postcard campaign on
21.07.2016 addressed to CPMG to look in to the grievances faced by our SBCO
staff. Copy of Post card is enclosed.
Though
reiterated by the DTE., no manpower is
given to SBCO units and our staff are suffering a lot in completing their day
to day works. Instead of giving man power to SBCO, the Divisional Heads now
tend to restrict any kind of leave applied for by the officials stating that
the voucher checking work should not be pending for more than 2-3 days.
Not ensuring adequate manpower to
SBCO to keep the work up to date and to tight vigilant activities, the DHs are
in a hurry to identify our SBCO
officials as subsidiary offenders in case of any fraud even without considering
the merit of the case and in some cases,
even before identifying Primary offenders.
Suspension of our SBCO incharge at Karaikudi HO in our Circle is an opt
example for such activities of DHs.
In some
Divisions, our SBCO officials are entrusted with verification of Heavy
withdrawals, to be a member of squad for settlement of OMs andcompelling SBCO officials to visit SOs for settlement of
OMs.
SBCO
officials working in Tamilnadu circle are very much annoyed on the difficulties
caused by such activities of Divisional Heads.
Hence,
Our Circle Association fervently requests our General Secretary to intervene personally,
contact our Chief Postmaster General to resolve the issues and thereby ensure
conducive working atmosphere to the SBCO officials in Tamilnadu Circle.
Yours fraternally,
M.P.P. KARTHIKEYAN
Circle
Secretary
