Dear Friends,
The preparatory works for the one day strike on 02.09.2015 to meet over all the demands are going on . In the meeting with the Group of Ministers some progress has been achieved. But still the Govt is not giving any assurance to some of the main demands.
Our Association appeals to all SBCO employees to participate in the one day strike and make it grand success. Only after this, the Central Govt will realize our Genuine demands.
On the other hand, another Union of SBCO cadre, describe the proposed strike as "Political Strike" and declare that they will not participate.
Our Association leaves this matter to our SBCO cadre whether demands like
1. Scrapping of New Pension Scheme
2.Implementation of 7th pay commission recommendations w e f 01.01.2014
3.To implement cadre re-structuring proposal as agreed by the DOP
4. Filling up of all vacancies
5. Compassionate appointment to one of the member of deceased Govt.
employee
6. Removal of ceiling limit for Bonus
7. Promotion avenues in 5 stages for all Postal Employees
are of Political nature.
It seems that the another union of SBCO cadre does not have guts to participate in the strike to safe guard the interests of their own members.
But they dare to enjoy the fruits resulting from the strike carried out by others as in the past.
Our Association appeals to all SBCO officials to realize these facts and support our Association - works for the interest of SBCO cadre.
