LETTER TO DPS SR FOR CONSIDERING THE REQUESTS OF SENIOR LSG OFFICIALS BEFORE POSTING THE NEWLY PROMOTED LSG OFFICIALS IN SBCO:

Subject: Regarding consideration of the requests of already working LSG officials in SBCO 

               while issuing orders for place of posting for the newly promoted LSG officials… 

Reference: Circle Office memo no. STA/76-191/2021 dated at Chennai 600 002 the 16.08.2022.

 

              On behalf of the All India Postal SBCO Employees Association, it is brought to the kind notice of the Director of Postal Services, Southern Region regarding consideration of the requests of LSG SBCO officials who are already working in different stations. It is learnt that the LSG promotion list of SBCO officials was released vide the reference cited above, in which three SBCO officials have got their LSG promotions in Southern Region.

 

               It is requested that while issuing the place of posting for the three SBCO officials, the requests of the LSG SBCO officials who are already working in different stations may be considered sympathetically, after which the newly promoted officials may be posted. For example, one official Sri. A. Kesavan working as LSG Supervisor Tiruchendur HPO has given request for Shankarankovil HPO. He is staying away from his family for more than two years. One of the official’s daughters is to give her board exam this year and the other has joined college. The spouse of the official is working in agricultural department of state government at Kovilpatti. Hence, if the official is considered for the vacancy at shankarnkovil HPO, he can at least reach out to his family daily to take care of them.

 

              Hence, the Association requests the respected Director of Postal Services to kindly consider the above request case in LSG SBCO and also other such cases before issuing the place of posting for the newly promoted LSG officials. If the orders of place of posting is already issued, it is kindly requested to modify the orders on humanitarian grounds.
