Dear Friends,

The Circle Working Committee meeting of our Association is to be held on 24.06.2017 at "Nakeeran Arangam", Egmore Railway Station, Chennai. Before Commencement and closing of the CWC meeting, our Association proposes to conduct a seminar on the following subjects.
New Pension Scheme :
By Com. G. Ragupathy, Assistant Secretary General, NFPE

How to face / safeguard ourselves from Contributory Negligence cases:
By Com. M. R. Meenakshisundram ( M R M ),Veteran Defence Assistant and Rtd. Supervisor, SBCO

We invite all our friends to participate in the meeting and make use of it.

In the history of SBCO cadre, Our Circle Association is able to bring important issues of our SBCO cadre to the notice of JCM staff side and Postal Joint Council of Action. Our issues are incorporated in to the memorandum presented to the CPMG in this connection. It also figured during the agitation by PJCM (Consisting of both NFPE & FNPO ) on 07.06.2017.

Our Circle Association understands that some adverse recommendations had been presented at the Workshop conducted on "Revised role of SBCO cadre in the changing CBS environment "at Chennai on 30th and 31st May 2017. We are given to understand that the workshop was attended by the General Secretary, Asst General Secretary, Karnataka Circle Secretary and one of the active member of our Rival Union. But the adverse proposals were not objected by them strongly. Having known the suggestions, our Circle Association contacted our General Secretary shri Virendra Tiwary and requested him to take appropriate action at Directorate level to stop implementing the proposals. The content of the letter a/to DTE., is given below.

Our Union welcomes the action initiated now by the Department to evolve revised procedure in the working pattern of SBCO.

In this juncture, it is needless to reminisce the sustained efforts taken in that direction by our Union even through series of struggle programmes to usher the Administration for the purpose.

Despite the above fact, it is a matter of concern that the programme of workshop held at Chennai on 30th and 31st May 2017 was not informed to our Union whereas three or four functionaries of AISBEU invited to participate in the workshop.

However, It is requested that any suggestions and inputs shared in the workshop for preparing a revised role for SBCO in the changed environment should be conveyed to our Union as this Union is a major stake holder of the interests of SBCO ( Federation affiliated union and constituent of JCM Departmental Council ).
And also, a meeting with our Union may please be arranged at the earliest in Directorate to review the inputs of workshop held at Chennai on 30th and 31st May 2017 and to decide the revised role for SBCO in the changed CBS environment. immediate action is solicited please.
